This rinzu silk kimono, embellished with faux-shibori "yabane" (arrow-feather) and blue banana-leaf motifs, measures 49 inches (124.5 cm) from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and stands at a height of 56 inches (142.2 cm). The yabane motif, historically popular in various periods, holds significance linked to weddings, symbolizing a bride's transition to her new home after marriage, akin to an arrow shot from a bow.
