This silk kimono showcases yabane (arrow-feather) motifs, which might typically indicate a meisen style; however, this exquisite, soft garment was likely crafted using a kasuri technique. Narrow vertical stripes intricately run through the center of each yabane motif.
There's horizontal silk splitting along the shoulder top, rendering the garment unwearable. However, when displayed as art, these splits can be concealed. Its measurements are approximately 50 inches from sleeve-end to sleeve-end and 61 inches in height, or about 127 centimeters by 155 centimeters.
