Rare sweetmeat purse "in totally original condition down to the pink silk lining. Overall condition is very good with only the front clasp or button missing. The ground is silver gilt and the flowers are in silk. When this piece was made, sumptuary laws were in place in England prohibiting anyone outside the court to use or wear gilt thread." per Robin Badley. 7"x 5".
