This monumental cotton suzani originates from the Surkhandarya region of southern Uzbekistan and dates to 1970–1980. Measuring 92 inches by 136 inches (234 cm x 345 cm), this impressive textile is in good condition, though it bears several tiny holes and stains consistent with its history and use. The piece is composed of a vibrant red cotton ground heavily decorated with traditional hand-embroidery.

The field features a dense, rhythmic repeating pattern of stylized floral rosettes (paliak). These rosettes are arranged in staggered vertical columns, alternating between three distinct color palettes: cream and burgundy, yellow and green, and solid burgundy with intricate white scrolled centers. Each large rosette is surrounded by smaller, delicate floral accents, creating a sense of a flourishing garden. The entire field is framed by a green geometric border featuring a continuous "winding river" or vine motif, which provides a cooling contrast to the warm red field.
