An embroidered screen with outstanding workmanship, especially with regards to the large peacock (see detailed images for a closer look at the extraordinary technique involved). Satin stitch on silk. Embroidered was once framed, and as a result the edges are of a darker shade than the main ground, as can be seen in the images. Excellent condition. 33" x 25".
