Measuring approximately 8 inches by 8 inches (20 cm x 20 cm), the piece is crafted from a satin brocade ground featuring a subtle lattice pattern. The woven design consists of small, stylized floral sprigs in muted tones of copper, gold, and sage green, delicately enhanced with subtle metallic threads that add a faint shimmer to the floral centers.

The square is finished with a relatively wide, decorative edging laced with metallic thread, which provides a textured, dark frame to the lighter cream-colored ground. The reverse is backed with a dark flesh-colored satin, ensuring the small panel has a finished appearance and structural weight. While the piece remains a charming historical specimen, there are some indications of light staining on the primary fabric, consistent with its age and use as a domestic decorative object.
