Measuring approximately 9.5 inches by 9.5 inches (24 cm x 24 cm), the piece is constructed from a lustrous cream satin brocade ground. The surface is adorned with a dense, repeating lattice of scrolling vines that cradle small floral sprigs in a palette of copper, muted gold, and sage green.

The textile features a subtle incorporation of metallic threads within the floral motifs, which is further emphasized by a substantial, relatively wide edging laced with metallic thread. This intricate fringe provides a heavy, textured frame that contrasts with the smooth satin center. The piece is finished with a dark flesh-colored satin backing, providing structural support and a refined reverse side. While the structural integrity is sound, the fabric shows some slight staining consistent with its age.
