A striking, pristine formal obi designed on both sides in an intricate silk brocade work. The silk and craftmanship is of the finest quality. 156" x 12.5" (folded) Together, the dragon and phoenix symbolize Yin and Yang: perfect balance. In Japan, dragon and phoenix symbolism is associated closely with the imperial family -- the emperor (dragon) and the empress (phoenix). The pairing represents a power- packed union of success, prosperity, friendship, love, and enlightenment.
