Italy late 17th c (1675-1700) $6,000.00 An embroidered hanging, the crimson silk ground worked in coloured floss silks and metal thread, with a central floral basket, flanked by pairs of birds, amidst scrolling flowers and leaves, the border with alternating flowers. Old brass rings attached to the upper lining to allow easy hanging.
