Japan Early Showa era (1927-1940) $275.00 A crepe silk kimono with yuzen (rice resist dyed) patterns outlined with surihaku (metallic leaf outlining). The bold chrysanthemum patterns dominate this kimono. The chrysanthemum is a symbol of superior character, and has been respected in Japan since ancient times.
