Japan Early Showa (1927-1939) $350.00 A chirimen silk formal kimono with a front panel design that has been enhanced by selective embroidery to add depth to the design. You can see the basting stitches still in it from when it was dry cleaned. Because of the design of kimono, a Japanese cleaner will hand baste the garment so that it keeps it’s shape.
