Japan 1950-1980 SOLD " A medium blue vintage rinzu silk with yuzen ume and stems in cheerful yellow, medium sky blue and red and black. The fabric is covered in very detailed silk embroidery of ume (plum blossoms). Metallic embroidery and couching in silver, gold, green and blue. Embroidery with silk threads and metallic gold outlining and accents. The unadorned rinzu areas of this piece are soft drape, while the embroidered and yuzen portions are stiffer due to the dyeing and the hand needlework."
