Spain First half 19th century (1800-1850) $500.00 The general style with finely-worked silk, silver and gold metal threads on hand-made linen seems to indicate a date of first half of 19th century, but could be older. Perhaps this was a textile made in a Convent or Monastary, as the picture itself seems to depict religious grounds. The backing consists of a light olive-coloured silk material.
